What to expect in the session:
The session is NOT me teaching. Instead, it is all about giving you the opportunity to practice making small talk and networking in English, away from the pressures of your job. Please note, it is not possible just to sit and listen. You will be expected to actively participate through-out the whole session.
The event will be very relaxed (I might have a small glass of wine in my hand!). I will use break-out rooms so you can chat in pairs, rather than a large group. I will swap the rooms regularly so you have the chance to speak English with lots of different people.
If you are not sure what to talk about, don't worry. The email with the link will include a list of 20 suggested networking and small talk questions.
If you haven't worked with me before, after the session you will receive an email with feedback from me on your English communication. This will include what you currently do well, as well as suggestions on how to improve.
